Jessica Gleason - Jessica Gleason

Jessica Gleason is merely a woman walking through life with words. She lives to write and writes to live. She has an affinity for cats and prefers to sleep during the day. She has been a substitute teacher for the past four years and is currently an adjunct instructor at two wonderful colleges. She is your run-of-the-mill eccentric writer type.

Jessica has a BA in English Writing and Philosophy with a certification in Women's Studies. She also has an MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Creative-Non-Fiction. In addition to a great education, Jessica has won many award for her writing, public speaking and teaching abilities.

Jessica is an avid supporter of Forensics Speaking and is a lifetime member of Pi Kappa Delta (The National Forensics Fraternity). She is also a veteran member of Sigma Tau Delta.

Not only is Jessica a contributing writer here at Suite101, she's also been published in various journals and magazines, including: The Writer's Eye Magazine, Nefarious Ballerina, The Muse, The Idiom Magazine and, most recently, Fickle Muses. Jessica also has a paranormal romance novella due out August 2010 (Champagne Books). So, keep an eye out for her novel release and write on!

*Jessica can be reached via her professional website: JESSICA GLEASON. This is also where she posts news on writing and publications... of if you're looking for something a bit stranger, you can visit her new blog, "The Master's Blog," at http://indiegirlserenade.wordpress.com.
